Jackson Square announced as sponsor for Party in the Park
Bishop’s Stortford shopping centre, Jackson Square, has been announced as a sponsor for the summer music festival Stortford Heroes: Party in the Park.
Party in the Park takes place on Saturday 16th July at Sworders Field with live entertainment, face painting, food stalls, and much more.
It’s a community-focused event organised by Bishop’s Stortford-based tech company, ITVET, with the help of other local businesses. It’s not commercially driven. The focus is to provide a free family day out to celebrate local heroes and raise money for charity.
Michael Smith, Centre Manager at Jackson Square, said: “We’re very proud to be sponsoring Party in the Park. This is a great event for the town and the local community to come together and celebrate. After the past couple of years, this will be a great opportunity to recognise many of our local heroes who regularly go above and beyond to serve the Bishop’s Stortford community.”
Richard Fountain, CEO of ITVET, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Jackson Square as a sponsor for Stortford Heroes: Party in the Park. We’ve had a tremendous response from local businesses and members of our community offering to help us put on this amazing day for our heroes. Jackson Square go above and beyond to support and promote all of our community initiatives. Their support is much appreciated. We genuinely couldn’t do it without their kind help, positivity and generosity. It’s strong partnerships like this that make Bishop’s Stortford community so great!”
Jackson Square is a 200,000 sq. ft. shopping centre in the heart of Bishop’s Stortford. It’s home to over 45 stores with a range of big-name brands including Next, H&M, Pandora, Starbucks, Nando’s, and many more.
